commission wip2

more progress with this one... I will try to explain something now;
the current commission is based on this piece that i had for the first time attempted 4 years ago.
Since i am always very confident i thought i would easily recreate a piece of mine, after all, how hard could that be especially since this would be the second time (therefor easier for me) ?

How wrong was I?
the most important aspect i never thought of at all... The fact that i am a different person now, that i have moved on with my art and i have evolved to something else...

i look at these 2 images over and over again and i CANT go back to who i was 4 years before. The colors are different, even the shapes are different

it is scary and frustrating at the same time...

One thing is crystal clear to me now. The current commission will NOT be identical to the original artwork
