Wow! First of all I love the texture of the hair. You did a wonderful job on the hair and eyes over all, they are very expressive. I love how you adjusted the reference photo to make the context more macabre. Don't know if you did it on purpose but either way it looks good. The expression in the eyes is the game changer(the thing that made this picture so very different from the reference).

My only suggestion would be to smooth the lips and cheeks just a tiny bit, not a ton. Just enough to make the lips more child soft, and enough to make the smooth highlights you added to the cheeks stand out more.

Anyway, love this piece! Good job!
