The picture's mood is good... As always, you have managed to capture that realistic effect in your picture. And the colors you used- excellent choice! Adding to the depth of the image with the blue and pinch of violet, was a great idea...! The expression in the picture has been captured well; and the way you drew the eyes and lips adds to it. And of course, the hair was drawn very well, and the shadows give it a more realistic look. And last, but not the least, I would like to complement the eyes, for they have been drawn very well! A fantastic work of art! Keep up the good work!!
I 've been always attracted by artists, they had the gift to depict not only a technically perfect image - regardless of the painting style and school - but most of all to depict emotions. Hyperrealists got amazing skills , but in most of their works, there's the artistic perfection of what they depict , and of cours this is amazing, but i think this is not enough. Technical realistic details do not make the difference, otherwise there would not be any reason for the existance of impressionists for example. You made a realsitic image that in my opinion flatters the model, and in the other hand gives the artistic expression of what the model feels . Even better i'd rather say , there's a dramatic mood and atmosphere in your painting that is missing from the photo !!! Facial and hand anatomy is just perfect. I liked most the use of vivid colours instead of pal ones as in photo reference, and it was an excellent choice to use blue-purple shades on the nose, chin and hand... The eyes are so brilliant and seem to look at something but without focusing at it, this is an awesome expression of query that amazed me a lot and it was the main reason to write this critique. It's a great work , keep it up !!!
