Unfortunately i admit i had to revisit this
Why?
Because it needed a different approach concerning the warm tones,skin texture,and shading.
So i built a skin texture (which isn't an easy task with color pencils) with details around the eyes/lips/nose.
I used burnt carmines and various flesh pinks for the warm result, and i suggest you enlarge the image in order to see everything.

Try to scan your drawings instead of taking photos,and pls loose the watermark,this thing is hideous.Make a watermark of your own, a subtle one,if you need directions i ll send you a link.

I am using Photoshop Elements 7,its free to DL in the web,and it was a rather light program,not too many tools i guess but i am not doing anything much in PS7 either,some cropping and contrast,thats all.So i used this link [link] to create my watermark,i found it useful,and for sure it served my purposes.
I dunno which PS you are using,i bet you can come up with all kinds of info concerning Photoshop in youtube,it just needs a little time to dedicate and you ll do it.
One more thing.
Maybe you didnt do much art through the last years,i know how it feels to live a life taken a certain path,making family and raising kids is a great (the greatest) happiness,it gives our life a special meaning and mostly the satisfaction we are one more link to the circle of life.
If you have finally made time for art (and you must know its NEVER late for that,as long as you can see,and hold your pencils/brushes) i am really happy for you,doing art is a lonely process but it can also be a very satisfactory one.

I agree that family is a good use of our lives, just really looking forward to the time I can go back to the other things in life I loved when I didn't have so many pressures to life and family. Working on something new at the moment. Hope you get to see it also.
