I grew up learning to do my art originally using color pencil work so when I see excellent control over this medium it always warms my heart and to break out my prismacolors. Your variation in color and value are awesome and your technique in your strokes have a style all to its own. I think that some of your shadows could have been a little cooler and perhaps color reflection from the flower would have been nice as well. The only other thing that I think that could have been improved on is the hair with perhaps few loose or wild strands. Over all this is beautiful and I would have to work hard to get this quality although I am sure I could do it .
Outstanding piece, Christina. I'm in awe!!! I like the reflection of the flower on her face. The highlights are striking and used very effectively. The colors blend well and capture the essence of her skin-tone. You really did a good job putting this together. Her eyes are just captivating! I love the way you put in the reflections. The shades and background are well done also. Congratulations, you’ve created a jaw dropping piece of art!
Your work is really good and it only seems to get better. Your style is very good and the images are very precise. You work is near perfect and they look even better than the pictures they are done from. Your art bring out more highlights and contract which make the portrait standout better than a photograph. Your art will catch a persons attention quicker than the original photo would. So keep doing what you are!
