i changed the colors a bit.. I asked your opinion through my last poll, how would you feel to see me doodling. Why did i ask? Because i love it but i rarely do this anymore..and i had kinda missed it.. So this is it!With loose strokes and crosshatching and lots of fun!! I hope you enjoy this as much as i did
I used: My derwent watercolor pencils dry. White gel pen. On watercolor paper And lots of coffee and smokes in the breaks!
You literally won't believe how long I've been waiting to critique this piece of art! It's my first critique, and so I'm hoping I can do this wonderful piece justice.
When I first saw lurking around in my group folders, I was just captivated by it! I just couldn't stop staring at it! The colours are beautiful intertwined within the pupil, and the sharp colours contrast brilliantly with the warm undertones of the skin and the dark lashes. I think perhaps the lacrimal caruncle (tear duct area) is a little oversized but just ever so slightly. Great eyelid crease!
The piece makes a strong impact and simply superb for a doodle! I love your technique, and I wish I could have even the slightest gram of it!
it will take time and at least i am trying atm to make a journal concerning my tools/hints and tips and technique.I just cant make time for everything Robyn .
