I know no better way to celebrate the joy of life and love than a single perfect rose.I couldn't say for sure this one here was completed as i could easily get lost in the ripples of the water and the countless details of the pebbles. But i am happy with the way it turned even if it took me almost 10 days (with non stop work) to finish it.
I used: Prismacolor premier pencils Edding 140S Marker 0.3mm black C.Kreul extrafine 0.8mm white On smooth watercolor paper
Let me start by saying, this is an amazing picture; everything including the theme, is very nice! The picture has a realistic touch to it, in fact like a photograph. The ripples in the water and the wetness on the stones, enhances the water's presence, of course. You a have also shown the reflections in a very realistic way. How the reflection of the flower and the stone would look along with the ripples... you have visualized and displayed it very well! And the flower... It's vibrant but subtle colors give it a very original, realistic look, and also makes the flower look very beautiful. An excellent work of art, I must say! Great job!
