This is my first criticism concerning animals. This tiger looks very real, particular his blues eyes . It almost looks like a photo, but with a background unrealistic. Because of hairs are white, it blends very well decor. It is magical and that I find very beautiful, it is the way it has been colored. I find that drawing felines is very hard, especially the front. So I think the position of the face of the tiger puts more value. I do not have much inspiration to criticize, because I think it is perfect. You handle the colors, that's what I like most in a work. Especially when it has been done in traditional art instead of digital . well this is what ended my critique .
The depth and texture of this piece are amazing! Being a big tiger fanatic myself, I have to say this is the most beautiful rendering I have seen in a while. The different colors used give it a unique flare that is aestheticly pleasing to the eye. The techniques used give it an etherial grace and is absolutely stunning. I would definitely buy prints of this to put in my house...definitely a collector item for a tiger enthusiast as myself! The shading in the background really makes the clouds pop out off the page and really brings out the beauty of this wonderful animal.
I think i will probably have another go with this one,i feel in my heart that something is missing here, something have eluded me but i just cant point it out...i only know its missing. But thank you very very much Barry!
